eBikes for Older Adults
One of two pilot projects in three communities to promote the adoption of alternative transportation for older, income-qualified adults. Made possible by a Colorado Energy Office grant ensuring 50 lucky adults have a healthier, low-cost transportation option.

First Battery Storage Project
Made possible by two $25,000 EPA grants and La Plata Electric Association(LPEA) matching funding to provide solar and battery storage for lower-income senior housing in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This project won the 2018 Colorado Solar Energy Innovation Award.

Home H2O Program
Ready to Catch the Rain was a project that brought rain water harvesting education, public displays of “How to Catch the Rain” workshops for DIY rain barrel construction and rain barrel purchases to communities in the region.

Energy Retrofit Assistance
The Energy Retrofit Assistance pilot program (ERA) was developed while working for the Centre for Community Energy Transformation(CCET). This was designed in collaboration with the City of Mississauga, the Peel Region and CCET. It will provide free whole-house energy retrofits to income-qualified households
